Dog of the Week: Meet Bailey

Spotted during golden hour… a familiar face, a founding presence, and quite possibly the soul behind it all.

Before Golden Hour Premier ever existed, there was Bailey.

As she prepares to celebrate her 7th birthday on April 24th, it feels only fitting that she becomes our very first Golden Dog of the Week. Not just because she deserves it, but because none of this would exist without her.

Bailey is everything a golden retriever should be and then some. Loving, loyal, and effortlessly full of personality, she moves through life with a kind of warmth you can’t teach. She carries her favorite toys like prized possessions, always ready to turn an ordinary moment into a full-blown game of tug-of-war.

The beach, however, is where she truly comes alive.

There’s something about the sand beneath her paws and the sound of the waves that feels like home. One moment she’s sprinting down the shoreline, the next she’s diving headfirst into the ocean, completely in her element. And when the day winds down, she trades adventure for stillness—curled up beside her little sister, Winnie.

And yes, her role as big sister is one she takes seriously… most of the time.

With Winnie, Bailey is equal parts gentle leader and playful instigator. Their bond is the kind you don’t need explained, you just see it. Whether it’s quiet cuddles on the couch or bursts of chaos that somehow turn into laughter, the two of them are a reminder that the best connections are often the simplest ones.

But Bailey’s story isn’t just made of golden-hour moments.

This past year tested her in ways most wouldn’t expect. After suffering an ACL tear in 2025 and working through recovery, she faced another setback with a second tear shortly after. It would have been easy to lose that spark, but Bailey never did.

She showed up the only way she knows how: happy, loving, and unshaken.

Resilient in a way that doesn’t need attention, but deserves it.

Now, she’s officially cleared and slowly stepping back into the life she loves. Walk by walk, stride by stride, her strength is returning, and with it, that same energy that’s always defined her. Every step forward feels earned. Every moment, a little more meaningful.

Bailey isn’t just our first Golden Dog of the Month.

She’s the reason behind the lens. The inspiration behind the brand. The reminder of why these moments matter in the first place.

And just like that… the original star steps into the golden hour.
